One thing worth knowing up front: we never touch your cash, so commission on cash bookings is recovered from the online money we are already holding for the same trip. Is the first month really free?

Yes — the subscription is. If you are new to PathYatra, the ₹590 subscription on your first bus is free for one month, so you can set everything up and try it before paying anything. It is one free month, on the first bus; any additional bus is charged from the day you add it. Booking commission is separate and still applies on bookings you take during that month.

Is commission part of the subscription?

No. The ₹590/month subscription and the booking commission are separate. Subscription is per bus, per month; commission applies only when a booking is made.

Why is online commission lower than cash?

Online booking commission is normally 5%, but PathYatra subsidises 3% of it — so you're charged only 2% on online bookings. Cash bookings are charged 5%.

Is GST extra on top of ₹590?

No. ₹590 is the total you pay, inclusive of all taxes. Nothing is added at checkout.

How is commission on cash bookings collected?

It is deducted from the online collections we are already holding for the same trip — you never hand us cash. If a trip is mostly cash and there isn't enough online money to cover it, the balance carries to your next trip settlement, and if it is still open on your subscription due date it is added to that invoice.
